What We Filter & Why
PFAS
PFAS
PFAS are man-made industrial chemicals used in coatings, packaging, firefighting foam and non-stick materials. They enter water through manufacturing runoff and contaminated soil, and we filter them because long-term exposure is linked to hormonal disruption, immune effects, and increased health risks.
Microplastics
Microplastics
Microplastics are tiny plastic fragments shed from bottles, synthetic clothing, packaging and degraded waste. They enter waterways through breakdown of plastic pollution, and we filter them because they can carry toxins and create inflammation and oxidative stress in the body.
Chlorine
Chlorine
Chlorine is a disinfectant added to kill pathogens in tap water. It enters the water supply through standard treatment processes, and we filter it because it can irritate the skin, affect taste and smell, and form byproducts that may pose long-term health concerns.
Heavy Metals
Heavy Metals
Heavy metals are naturally occurring elements that can leach from old pipes, mining sites, industrial waste, and contaminated soil. We filter them because they can accumulate in the body and interfere with neurological, kidney, and developmental functions.
Bacteria & Viruses
Bacteria & Viruses
These are microorganisms that can cause gastrointestinal illness and infections. They enter water through contaminated sources, damaged pipes, or inadequate treatment, and we filter them to prevent waterborne disease and protect the immune system.
